
Time to Spring…. This is the time of year where we have more sunshine and more energy. Windows are open and we can breathe in the spring air. Bring that warmth, energy and spirit into the classroom. Students are beginning to focus on summer plans, what they will do after graduation and where dance fits in. This is not the time to to back off barre and technique but time to accelerate. Set yourself up for success this summer by putting in the work the next two months as a teacher and a dancer. Your summer ballerina body will thank you for it, and you will enter the warm months with a strong dance foundation and core wherever things leads you.

Warm Up – Track one Warm Up
Face barre in parrel first position plié and stretch and straighten. Plié and straighten flat back bend right foot left and move to second.
Second plié and stretch straighten, plié and straighten. Flat back stretch and turn to fourth left hand on the barre. Lunge turn to the barre in a lunge, facing the barre, turn fourth lunge facing the other direction feet together and roll up.
